Programme Coordinator, The Common Guild, 2015 - 2019

As Programme Coordinator at The Common Guild I have been involved in the delivery of a number of talks, events and art projects. 

A Place for the Work and the Human Being, 2019

A series exploring the needs, expectations and possibilities of the space for art today and speakers include artists, architects, curators and others. Ran throughout 2019 and took place in a range of venues, new and old, around Glasgow.

Sink, 2018

Janice Kerbel’s 'Sink’ took the form of a synchronised swimming routine, using the language of synchronisation to explore the tensions between body and language, movement and stillness, the individual and the collective. Part of Festival 2018, the cultural programme for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.

Nasher Prize Dialogues: Artists and Authorship, 2018

A discussion considering questions around ownership, originality, responsibility, ethics, and authorship in 21st century art production.

Room for Reading, 2016 - 2018

Room for Reading is an opportunity to make use of our unique library on the first Thursday of every month. Books were suggested by exhibiting artists to reflect their current thinking. 

At Twilight: A play for two actors, three musicians, one dancer, eight masks (and a donkey costume), 2016

A performance created by Simon Starling and Graham Eatough and presented in the grounds of Holmwood House.
